Last night was the first rain of the season and with it comes autumn to Northern California. Sadly, the sun is back out and the clouds have broken. I was looking forward to enjoying a grey, introspective day. I say sadly as on cloudy days I feel more inspired to turn inward and focus on my art and expressing myself. So instead I think I'll spend my time preparing for Samhain and working on my ever addictive Pinterest boards.

I think I go through artistic phases. A few years ago I was an abstract painter. Then for a short while I was an illustrator. More recently I was a watercolor artist. And now I'm feeling a strong desire to draw again.
I started thinking about this after photographic and uploading my "Primal Force" drawing that I made four years ago.
